Strathbogie Ranges Wine Show Weekend

Head up the Hume Highway during October for the Strathbogie Ranges Wine Show weekend and sample some of the best red and whites the region has to offer.

A leisurely one and a half hours drive away in Central Victoria, with majestic granite hills and undulating plains, the Strathbogie Ranges is producing a stunning array of award winning wines that are quickly becoming noticed both here and around the world.

Three of the countries most respected female wine producers and judges, Jeni Port, Kerri Thompson, and Mandy Jones will make up the panel selecting the 2010 best wines from the region. The winning wines will be announced at an industry dinner on the Friday night. A tasting dinner will be held for the general public on the Saturday at the Seven Creeks Hotel, Euroa where you can experience these terrific wines and talk first hand to the area’s winemakers.

Take a drive around the stunning countryside and visit a selection of cellar doors open during the weekend including Maygar’s Hill, Baddaginnie Run, Elgo Estate, Plunkett Fowles, Terip Vineyards, Garner’s and Delbard Wines.
